I wholly enjoy the process of documenting the moments that comprise my days. In my quest to be more mindful and to participate more fully in these moments, the camera proves to be a useful tool in stilling myself and seeing, rather than just looking. Hopefully, I am learning more each day...about seeing, hearing, being, participating, and creating. I have a degree in fine art, but this is my first opportunity to use a digital SLR to capture images. There is a definite learning curve...but practice always makes better.
